Directions to our Mystic Hotel

By Car:
The Whaler’s Inn is a 2 hour drive from New York City and a 2-hour drive from Boston.

From New York, take I-95 North to Exit 89. Turn right off the exit, continue to Route 1, turn left onto Route 1 (New London Rd.), proceed over the drawbridge. We are the first driveway on the right after Cottrell Street.

From the Boston/Providence area, take I-95 South to Exit 89. Turn left off the exit, continue to Route 1 (New London Rd.), turn left onto Route 1, proceed over the drawbridge. We are the first driveway on the right after Cottrell Street.

By Train:
The Whaler’s Inn is only 4 blocks from the Mystic Depot Train Station (about a 15-minute walk and a five-minute drive). Amtrak trains stop daily in Mystic. Call Amtrak (1-800-872-7245) for schedules.

By Plane:
Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut is 1 1/2 hours away. To reach the Whaler’s Inn, take I-91 South to Route 9 South to I-95 North to Exit 89. Turn right off the exit, continue to Route 1 (New London Rd), turn left onto Route 1, proceed over the drawbridge. We are the first driveway on the right after Cottrell Street.

Boston’s Logan International Airport is 2 hours away. To reach the Whaler’s Inn, take I-95 South to Exit 89, turn left off the exit, continue to Route 1 (New London Rd), turn left onto Route 1, proceed over the drawbridge. We are the first driveway on the right after Cottrell Street.

T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island is 45 minutes away. Take I-95 South to Exit 89. Turn left off the exit, continue to Route 1 (New London Rd), turn left onto Route 1, proceed over the drawbridge. We are the first driveway on the right after Cottrell Street.

By Bus:
Bus transportation to Mystic from Providence, Boston, and New York has never been easier! Peter Pan Bus Lines also offers expanded departure schedules from Mystic to TF Green and Logan Airports. Facilities

Due to the historic nature of our property, most guestrooms are not accessible to guests with disabilities. Rooms are accessible by stairs only. With the exception of guestrooms in our new Stanton House building, the property does not offer elevator service.

Our Lobby, Public Restroom, and on-site restaurant are accessible via ramp and fully accessible.

Although we have a fondness for pets, The Whaler’s Inn can only accommodate pets that are certified by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on our premises. Thank you for your understanding.
