Mystic Artisan: Kelly Holland
We are excited to announce our collaboration with the outstanding local photographer and blogger, Kelly Holland.
Kelly has an incredible eye for capturing the beautiful landscapes of coastal New England, iconic Mystic landmarks, and the shorelines of Connecticut and Rhode Island. She is also the author of the lifestyle blog, Knot So Loud, where she shares her experiences with deafness, provides travel guides for New England, and offers great recommendations for Mystic.
During the 2020 pandemic, Kelly spent a lot of her time taking walks around Mystic with her 11-year-old Dalmatian, Brooklyn. She began capturing and sharing the beauty of Mystic and the shoreline scenes, realizing the joy it brought to others. “I love capturing the beauty of Mystic and the shoreline scenes. Being by the water is my favorite part of living in Mystic.”
When not behind the lens, Kelly immerses herself in day trips around New England, sailing on Long Island Sound, and camping adventures in her A-frame pop-up camper. Embracing the Northeast Coast’s spirit of adventure, she also enjoys visiting the beaches in Watch Hill and more. In her quieter moments, Kelly finds solace in reading and treasuring precious time with friends and family.
